Hello, my name is Deb Benoit.
I am most likely the first person you will have communication with at Heart and Mind Counseling.
I work with clients from the initial contact, obtain insurance information to be sent for verification of benefits, create profiles on the patient portal and schedule the initial appointment with the therapist. I am excited to work with new clients and get them started on their journey.
I have an “open door” policy and encourage clients to reach out to me with any questions or concerns they may have.
Focus is on Customer Service
From my first job in my teenage years, I have always had a form of customer service skills in my positions. I’ve worked at a major bank as a bookkeeper, teller and customer service representative. I’ve been a full-charge accountant/office manager for small businesses for many years.
Over the past 20+ years, I’ve been employed in the mortgage industry. Starting as a Loan Officer, I also learned processing skills and eventually was promoted to Underwriting. My main focus was VA and Conventional Mortgage loans.
I have an Associate’s Degree in Accounting another Associate’s Degree in Credit & Finance from Macomb Community College. I then went on to Walsh College to obtain my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
During my free time…
I love gardening, dogs and going for walks. I look forward to spending time with my family and friends.
